Matthew Forsthoefel, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, KY, where he was also named a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received a distinction in research. He completed an internship in internal medicine at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, and a residency in radiation oncology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Forsthoefel is board certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Forsthoefel currently serves as a cancer liaison physician at Clark Memorial Hospital and is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American College of Radiology.
